Doc Co-Authoring
Write documentation and proposals with a guided, structured workflow.
Part of Anthropic skills ↗Doc Co-Authoring is an official Anthropic skill that walks you through writing structured documents — documentation, proposals, technical specs, and decision docs. It helps you transfer context efficiently and build the doc step by step, so you end up with something clear instead of a blank page.
What it does
- Guides you through writing docs, proposals, specs, and decision docs.
- Structures the workflow so context transfers efficiently.
- Turns a blank page into a clear, finished document.
How to install (2 minutes)
- 1Download the .zip and unzip it — you’ll get a folder called doc-coauthoring.
- 2In the Claude app: open Settings → Capabilities → Skills, choose Add / Upload, and select the folder (or the .zip).
- 3In Claude Code: drop the folder into your project’s .claude/skills/ directory, then type /skills to confirm it loaded.
- 4That’s it — the skill activates on its own when it fits what you’re doing.
