Frontend Design
Design distinctive, intentional interfaces — not templated defaults.
Part of Anthropic skills ↗Frontend Design is an official Anthropic skill that gives your website or app a real visual point of view. Instead of generic, templated defaults, it makes deliberate choices about palette, typography, and layout that fit your brief — so what you build with Claude actually looks designed.
What it does
- Guides palette, typography, and layout for a distinctive look.
- Steers Claude away from generic, templated-looking defaults.
- Grounds the design in your specific brand and subject.
What's in the download
- SKILL.md — the design-direction guidance, ready to install.
How to install (2 minutes)
- 1Download the .zip and unzip it — you’ll get a folder called frontend-design.
- 2In the Claude app: open Settings → Capabilities → Skills, choose Add / Upload, and select the folder (or the .zip).
- 3In Claude Code: drop the folder into your project’s .claude/skills/ directory, then type /skills to confirm it loaded.
- 4That’s it — the skill activates on its own when it fits what you’re doing.
