MCP Builder is an official Anthropic skill for creating high-quality MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers — the bridges that let Claude interact with external services and APIs, in Python (FastMCP) or Node/TypeScript. It's a developer tool for building integrations, not for building a website.

How to install (2 minutes)

1Download the .zip and unzip it — you’ll get a folder called mcp-builder.
2In the Claude app: open Settings → Capabilities → Skills, choose Add / Upload, and select the folder (or the .zip).
3In Claude Code: drop the folder into your project’s .claude/skills/ directory, then type /skills to confirm it loaded.
4That’s it — the skill activates on its own when it fits what you’re doing.
