Trip Planner
Turn “where should we go?” into a ready day-by-day trip plan in minutes.
Trip Planner is a free AI skill that builds you a complete, day-by-day travel itinerary — attractions, restaurants, a detailed budget, and a packing list — for trips abroad, trips close to home, or a quick weekend away. Still deciding where to go? It suggests destinations that fit your budget, and gives you real cost estimates before you ever book a flight.
What it does
- Builds a day-by-day itinerary with attractions, restaurants, a detailed budget, and a packing list.
- Works for big trips abroad, local trips, and short weekend getaways alike.
- Haven’t picked a place yet? It suggests destinations that match your budget and the trip you’re after.
- Gives you cost estimates up front, so you know the number before you book the flight.
- Replaces the “47 open tabs” chaos with one clear plan you can actually follow.
Works with
- Trips abroad
- Local trips
- Weekend getaways

How to install (2 minutes)
- 1Download the .zip and unzip it — you’ll get the skill files (SKILL.md plus a references folder).
- 2In the Claude app: open Settings → Capabilities → Skills, choose Add / Upload, and select the folder (or the .zip).
- 3In Claude Code: put the files in a folder inside your project’s .claude/skills/ directory, then type /skills to confirm it loaded.
- 4That’s it — tell it where you’re going, for how long, and your budget, and it plans the trip.
